Full Stack Developer

We’re looking for an awesome and talented Full Stack Web Developer to join us. Yeah yeah we know it’s exciting, so what are you waiting for?

A few things you probably need to know… You ideally need a minimum of 3 years development experience in an agency environment, a passion for bleeding edge web techniques plus have the ability to showcase your sweet, sweet skills. In an ideal world it would be great if you had client-facing experience, idea’s to push the team forward and the ability to work in a culture filled, creative and busy studio environment.

Skills to pay the bills

  • Excellent knowledge of PHP Frameworks, ie Laravel or Cake PHP
  • A strong experience in HTML5 and CSS3/SASS, JavaScript, jQuery and MySQL, MongoDB
  • Development of extended functionality for CMS systems (i.e WordPress)
  • Accurately translate web designs into elegant digital experiences
  • Experience with cPanel or Plesk and source control (e.g. GIT)
  • Ability to work in an agile development environment
  • Self-motivated, organised, detail orientated and willing to be challenged
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • A good understanding of SEO best-practice
  • Good problem solver and logical thinker
  • Strong understanding of UI and cross-browser compatibility

Do you have a certain set of desirable skills?
If so we will find you…

  • Experience with e-commerce development (Woocommerce, Shopify, Opencart and Magento)
  • Experience of javascript frameworks (such as Vue, React, Angular, Node)
  • Familiarity with Campaign Monitor or similar email marketing platforms
  • Knowledge of Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Ability to show thought leadership in your field

What you’ll be doing

  • Development, testing and deployment of new websites, backend platforms and digital experiences
  • Maintenance and bug fixing of legacy websites
  • Development and maintenance of HTML email templates
  • General hosting/email support
  • Client CMS Training
  • Collaborate and work in the studio to deliver digital projects on time, on budget at the forefront of web innovation
  • Research new technologies / development methods to expand our offering to clients
